10 Ways to Naturally Thicken your Hair!
It is best to do as many of the activities listed below if you want to really get out of losing hair and re-grow lost hair. The aim is of this article is to convince you that targeting your overall body health is the key factor in understanding and stopping hair loss – and to fully recover from it – no matter what your stage of hair loss.
1. Jogging or Intense Aerobics to prevent hair loss and re-grow hair
An intense jogging routine where you jog 3-4 times a week. I don’t recommend going on a treadmill as it can be very dull and boring, no matter how convenient it may sound to you, avoid it; Jogging outdoors is more beneficial as you breath in fresh air – your mind is entertained and able to focus on jogging.
Increased circulation is the main objective here. If the body is not being taken care of, over time, circulation decreases, and hair is the first to go; capillaries are the thinnest blood vessels, and can easily stop/reduce circulation if aerobic activity is not maintained – among other things such as detoxing the body.

There are a few natural remedies that you can use to thicken your hair.

If you don’t trust “pills” at all, then why not buy the actual Saw Palmetto berry. Best results are if you cycle this product, i.e. take it for 2-3 weeks and then stop for 2-3 weeks. This is how it’s worked best for me. The best saw palmetto I have tried (most potent) is the one from BIOVEA and Now Foods. This berry is actually underestimated for its strength, because so many different qualities of tablets being sold, it is difficult to know which is potent and which is not. Once you reach your desired level of hair thickness and growth, you don’t need to continue taking the herbs, thou I suggest taking a reduced maintenance dosage of Saw palmetto.
3. Throw away chemical based shampoos to Eliminate Hair Loss
Throw away your current shampoo and conditioner bottles; they are most likely filled with chemicals your hair can do without. Go for all natural shampoo with only a few natural ingredients. Its best to buy a few different bottles to see which one best suits your hair. Beware of companies advertising as all natural, but hiding the ingredients in some legal form or another.
I recommend the “101 Nourishing Shampoo”. It’s very mild, and its ingredients are only a few handful of natural herbs.
4. Drink Herbal tea
Drink herbal tea a few times a day (2-3 is optimal). It not only will refresh your skin but also support thicker hair growth. Green tea is good, but I recommend using detox tea. In my experience it has given me the most powerful results when combined with other activities listed here. Consume detox tea by taking it 2-3 times a day, for 2-3 weeks; and then stopping for 2-3 weeks. 5. Stand in horse stance position
Yes, I know this might sound crazy but it works. Standing in horse stance (Google it for images) forces blood circulation into the thigh bones, which in turn produces fresh blood to rejuvenate the whole body. Not many people know this secret, but it has been practiced in the martial arts for thousands of years as one of the secrets to health; and it can support your hair loss regime.
Practice standing on it for as long as you can every day (this usually is 1-5 minutes for most people).
6. Stop using hair dryers, gels and wax
If you are really serious about preventing any further hair loss and re-growing hair, I hope you will really consider doing this. It is vital that you stop putting in any chemicals in your hair that may be causing more damage than anything else. If you do have to use styling products, use water based natural wax; and only use very small amounts.

9. Lose Weight to stop Hair loss
This one might have seemed obvious, but getting into shape and losing the excess fat will help unclogging your capillaries leading to increased circulation, which will greatly help in hair re-growth; especially if done with the rest of the activities listed here.
10.Relax and Stop Worrying
I cannot emphasize this enough; long term stress can cause so much damage to your body (Hair loss is just one of them). Many people are unaware of the fact that they are even stressed, simply because it’s an everyday thing. This can very dangerous as stress is a major contributor to many illnesses.
Take time out for yourself, doing what makes you most relaxed. Don’t feel guilty for doing this; after all, you are in your most resourceful state when you have taken care of yourself first, then in turn you can help others around.

Having regular sex is great for you – but is it really? For men, every time you have an orgasm, it releases huge amounts of energy – after all, it is there to create another life (the most powerful thing a human can do). If this is abused (too much sexual activity, including masturbation), your body loses a lot of energy and therefore aging speeds up – hair loss, skin issues and the rest (applies to men only). Why do you think guys want to fall asleep right after sex? It is because they have just released a HUGE amount of energy, the body’s only way to attempt to replenish some of those energy reserves is by sleep.
This is a little tricky to explain – Men experiencing hair loss might need to look in their sexual activity – including masturbation – if you are having regular sex, it would be a good idea to think about practicing celibacy – This does not necessaryly mean no sex ever – just means practicing holding back and reducing sexual activity for some periods of time. For example reducing sex to once a week to once a month for a few months – and then moderately coming back to it – but this does not mean you tell yourself you will remain celibate and only think about sex all day long, that IS NOT the correct way and you will only become frustrated.
That said – when you DO have sex, make sure it is quality sex, not just a quick release, it does no good for your body if you just focus on quick releases – quality sex is prolonged/enjoyed over a long period of time (30mins to an hour is healthy) – you feel the energy circulating all over your body, has a healing effect for men and women.

UPDATE (September 2009) – 12. Massage your head
Massage your scalp up to 12 times a day everyday to increase scalp circulation – This forces new capillaries to form – allowing the hair follicles to rejuvenate and start producing hair – and eventually, thicker hair. You may find it useful to get head massage oils such as Rosemary and Lavendar mixed with Jojoba Oil – I have personally used this mixture and saw new hair growth on my hairline after 2-3 weeks of massaging it for 10-20 minutes every other day.
You do not need to massage it with oil everytime – you can do it with your fingers and gently massage a few times a day.
I also must add that taking care of your hair – or regrowing your hair MUST be looked at as an act of improving overall health – the healing must start from inside to be visible outside. Do not take this lightly as hair loss IS a sign of worse things to come – dealing with it from such a prespective is the best method to thickening your hair AND improving overall health.
