Are you a Perfectionist?

Submitted by on Saturday, 28 August 2010No Comment

Perfectionism means immobility – if you have perfect standards, that means you will never try anything. If you ever said no to something (drawing, sports, music, art or anything else) just because you think your not any good at it, then you are suffering from perfectionism.

Funny thing about perfectionism is that it simply cannot exist in the human world – as we have infinite growing potential; once we learn how to crawl as infants, we learn how to walk; once we learn how to walk, we learn how to run; once we learn how to run, we learn how to jump, skip, do flips and even dance! It keeps going!

Thomas Edison invented the light bulb after trying so many times – if he was a perfectionist, he would not have even tried 1 time because “he was not good at it”.
