Salt: A natural hair loss remedy

Submitted by on Wednesday, 3 March 2010No Comment

Salt is well known for its detoxification effects, and can be used as a hair loss remedy – but not the common iodized table salt; its actually called kosher salt or Himalayan salt – this is because these salts have not had their chemical structure changed by adding iodine to it, at high temperatures; see my article on 12 reasons why salt makes you invincible for more details.

There are a few methods on using salt as a hair loss remedy:

1. Direct application of kosher (or ideally Bamboo salt) salt to the affected areas on the scalp

2. Using very hot water and adding salt until it cannot dissolve any further; then soaking a cloth in it, and massaging the affected areas of the scalp using the hot cloth – this increases circulation and detoxifies the area allowing hair growth to peak.
