Food for Hair Growth – Top 3 Vital Foods for Hair Growth

food for hair growthThere is a whole thing argument about what foods are best for hair growth in men and women – one side talks about certain foods being better, and the vegetarian food eaters talk about the other side.

Unfortunately if you are a vegetarian and are trying to improve hair growth – it will be very difficult to do so, as we require actual animal protein to benefit from increased absorption.

We don’t take sides on what type of diet is best for a human – as this varies by requirements and their end goal – so this we leave to you – but as far as diet for best foods for hair growth, you will definitely have to eat meat, and yes, lean red meat is on the top of the list as follows:

1. Lean Red Meat: This is often misunderstood, but you must be eating enough of this type of meat, ideally from beef, to benefits from increased protein absorption. No, beans do not do the same thing – it is not just the nutrient you want, it is also the energy of that nutrient and how easy it is for the body to make use of it (bioavailability).

2. Biotin: This is already a well known supplement to take for helping with hair growth, but this alone will not do much if you don’t take other foods that have biotin present in it, or at least eat it with a food like red lean meat.

3. Collagen: Whilst this too is not an actual food, but a supplement, it still is vital for hair growth. This can be purchased online from amazon, and is very cheap for the amount you get. The idea is to eat collagen to then break it down in the down, and have the right amino acids in the right ratios, to allow the body to make its own collagen. So the collagen you end up taking is not the same collagen, but supplementing from it, has been found, without doubt, to improve skin and hair at a very fast rate (alarmingly fast!).

Bonus: If you actually start to do scalp massage on a daily basis, this will boost your hair growth to phenomenal rates. Especially when done at a daily rate – see this article for more information on other ways to naturally thicken hair. It explains the other things you can do to help hair growth, thicker or increasing the speed at which the hair grows.

Hair Follicles: Can they Regrow?

hair follcile regrowthThere are a bunch of studies done on hair follicles, and it is already understood that hair follicles do not actually die the way we used to think they do – but the problem is the fact that they stay dormant, and this can be genetically pre-programmed, although there are some ways to handle it.

Stopping the further fall of hair is easier than regrowing; although if you aren’t fully bald, then even regrowing some amount of hair is possible (some percentage of it at least – from studies conducted).

Science has figured out ways on how to regrow – but they are still developing a possible cure to baldness once and for all – and if you can hold onto the amount of hair you already have, by doing various methods (such as the ones listed on this article here), at least until the actual cure is released.

I know, staying youthful is hard work, and you have to constantly work hard towards it – but also without anxiety and worry (as those too are one of the biggest enemies to hair loss).

One most important thing discussed in the article link given above, is scalp massage; this is a key in keeping the hair you already have, and possibly re-growing more hair.

There are many methods – the point is to build a regime, and do what you can to stay healthy, including plenty of exercise and emotional stabilizing exercised (such as meditation) – if you look at people who meditate more often, are often in a more relaxed daily state, and also look years younger; this is no accident – it is a side effect of meditation (because meditation is done for larger purposes than just youthful looks, obviously).

So if you are looking for a sure-way to keep hair; then the least you should do is scalp massage on a daily basis.

Healing with Food: Bone Broth

bone soup reciepe

There are only a few foods that have stood the test of time for their properties for healing and renewing the body – As you already know, I have talked about the power of bone soup in my previous article “Health Reset Button – Bone Soup“.

So if you haven’t read the previous post, please do read it, as it covers some basics on bone soup. For benefits of bone soup, there are countless, from beauty to faster recovery time when sick; it also renews your stomach and helps heal ulcers in the stomach. There are endless benefits, and on top of that, it actually tastes very yummy!

Since my last post, many of you have asked me for more details on the recipe (which is vital, if you want the legendary healing of the food, and not just as a food to eat) and although I gave a general idea on its basics and what you really need, I want to introduce you to the most powerful recipe book you can own, and it’s called Bone Deep Broth: Healing Recipes with Bone Broth by Taylor Chen and Lya Mojica – it was just launched recently (Jan 7th 2016).

You can buy the book at Amazon here for my UK readers; for US Readers, you can go to the US Amazon. The book covers aspects that I did not cover, and are important if you want to use bone soup in many ways – for kids and adults, and variations of the original recipe, whilst keeping the main healing properties you need to have to get the benefits.

Making bone soup is easy, but there are various aspects of cooking which this book covers that are not always understood, and they are assumed you already know them (but many don’t know them) – some people refer to them as secrets of cooking; things like adding salt just before eating the soup, rather than during cooking or serving makes a huge difference in healing properties of the soup and gaining benefits from the salt for your health.

In case you’re wondering, it’s related to the salt attaching itself to the impurities in the food instead of being used to detoxify your body (yes Salt is powerful – See article here on “12 Reasons Salt makes you Invincible“). To conclude, you can have bone soup everyday, and get all the nutrients you need, THAT is how nutrient dense it is – what are you waiting for? Go buy some high quality organic grass fed bones and get cooking!

How to Reduce Stomach Acid – Instant Results

ways to reduce stomach acid

The stomach acid is considered evil by a western medical approach – but we need stomach acid to digest food – it is only when it get’s out of control, due to weak sphincter muscles and/or other reasons, we get problems.

There are medicines that pharmaceutical companies have made to reduce stomach acid – but this does not always solve the problem – you have to keep taking it!

If you came onto this article by looking for a cure for acid reflux, or heartburn, then you have come to the right place – but you have to understand, that acid reflux occurs when the Esophagus (in the picture above) is too loose, or when the stomach itself tightens up due to stress (you don’t always notice the tightness) – sometimes chest pains in the middle of the stomach also occur and this is also the diaphragm tightening up and causing acid reflux and all kinds of problems (sometimes even breathing problems).

If you are looking for ways to naturally reduce stomach acid, then the best way is to use foods to reduce the stomach acid, rather than using pills that may harm you.

The best foods to reduce stomach acid, and rebuild any damaged areas in the stomach lining (which could be worsening the pain), you must consume a lean red meat diet without any carbohydrates, sugar or fat – this means have a big juicy steak (with fat mostly cut out) and wait – you will see the pain will instantly disappear as you start eating.

To accompany your red meat diet, you should have leafy greens like spinach with it – ideally it should be steamed, to make it easier to digest.

What the red meat does (better than white meat in this case) is that it absorbs the stomach acid, and also allows the stomach some time to renew itself (regenerate the damaged areas that are hurting you, including the Esophagus).

How long should you be on this diet?

As long as it takes to heal the pains that you are going through.

What foods to avoid when suffering from high stomach acid problems:

Don’t eat sugars and carbs – they will only aggravate the problem and make it worse.

On a side note, if you have chest pains with this problem, your diaphragm is being tightened due to your stress – and you should do exercises that help this region, from stomach exercises, as well as running, jogging and skipping. This should be done everyday for at least 3 weeks.
