Treating Hypoglycemia using Natural Methods

low blood sugar

Treating Low blood sugar or otherwise called Hypoglycemia is often misunderstood by many, but can lead to a very dull and difficult life style, even though most cases are not that serious, it really does make a person feel weak and drained all the time. This is due to the fact that the body is converting anything you eat, directly to fat, and hardly using any for energy – so you are starving, even though you are eating.

This condition arises because of abuse of eating too many carbs, sugar and fat – this causes imbalance of insulin. This itself is not diabetes, but can become diabetes if not treated correctly. The good news is that this treatable, and curable – but not the way most websites and natural websites talk about – they usually say to eat carbs regularly – but this does not fix it – only reduces some symptoms – but as soon as eating is restored to normal levels, you start suffering from the same side effects.

The way to treat someone suffering from this, is by going on a strict protein diet for a certain period of time – this means, eating lean meat (beef, white fish, chicken, lamb) combined with spinach – several times a day, in small amounts. Ideally you want to do this for at least 7 days, very strictly – and then adjust slightly so you are better able to handle the diet long term.

I have seen people improve from this, even by eating 95% protein diet – where they add some sauce to the meat, and obviously some meats still have 1% fat in it – but the more severe the condition, the harder it is to do this diet, so mental strength is required when doing this diet – that said, you can see a big difference in just 7 days of doing this diet (on how it affects you and your health).

To summarize here:

– Eat 10 times a day

– lean meats, and some steamed spinach (at least 7 days)

– Drink plenty of water – Make yourself busy, so you do not think of other foods that you are addicted to

– Stopping a sugar addiction (sugar defined as fats, sugar, natural sugar and carbs) is often compared to stopping a drug addiction, so understand that each hour that you do this, you are more powerful and in control of your body and your intentions.

Hair Follicles: Can they Regrow?

hair follcile regrowthThere are a bunch of studies done on hair follicles, and it is already understood that hair follicles do not actually die the way we used to think they do – but the problem is the fact that they stay dormant, and this can be genetically pre-programmed, although there are some ways to handle it.

Stopping the further fall of hair is easier than regrowing; although if you aren’t fully bald, then even regrowing some amount of hair is possible (some percentage of it at least – from studies conducted).

Science has figured out ways on how to regrow – but they are still developing a possible cure to baldness once and for all – and if you can hold onto the amount of hair you already have, by doing various methods (such as the ones listed on this article here), at least until the actual cure is released.

I know, staying youthful is hard work, and you have to constantly work hard towards it – but also without anxiety and worry (as those too are one of the biggest enemies to hair loss).

One most important thing discussed in the article link given above, is scalp massage; this is a key in keeping the hair you already have, and possibly re-growing more hair.

There are many methods – the point is to build a regime, and do what you can to stay healthy, including plenty of exercise and emotional stabilizing exercised (such as meditation) – if you look at people who meditate more often, are often in a more relaxed daily state, and also look years younger; this is no accident – it is a side effect of meditation (because meditation is done for larger purposes than just youthful looks, obviously).

So if you are looking for a sure-way to keep hair; then the least you should do is scalp massage on a daily basis.

Inflammation: Root of the Aging Process

Inflammation has been known for a long time, but still many people do not understand it – so let us first explain what on earth is inflammation, and what does it do to the human body?

Inflammation as commonly understood as “reddening” of the skin surface – but this is not entirely accurate, as inflammation can still be present even if there is no reddening, often called cold inflammation, which cannot be seen or felt (usually inside the body rather than on the surface of the skin).

Inflammation is already understood to be the root cause of most diseases, let alone the fact that it is what takes a large percentage of control in the aging process and how we age – if you can control inflammation, or reduce greatly, you control your aging process and how you look and feel when you are much older, including how thick your hair grows, as our older article talks about – the picture below shows an example of inflammation for heart disease.

heart-disease-and-chronic-inflammation

So how do you control or stop inflammation naturally?

Inflammation feeds off from sugar – sugar being defined as natural sugar (fruits), processed sugar (the one you use for your coffee and tea), fats (animals and non-animal fats) and carbohydrates (pasta, rice, bread etc) – so for inflammation to even occur, it needs food from the above sources to even start to a large extent.

A diet control in this can definitely help as we talked about in the protein diet article and how it can renew your body and hormones.

The other important factor to take into consideration is – exercise. Only recently inflammation and exercise have a link – if you exercise, then inflammation is reduced – but you didn’t need a study to prove that – it’s common sense – if you move, there is less fats and sugar in the body wondering around on what to do, they just get used up with the movement, and also increased blood circulation which gets rids of the toxins that cause inflammation (sugar becomes toxins when it is at an unhealthy high level). The article here explains how exercise and inflammation are linked and what studies have been done.

Does this mean you have to stay on the protein diet forever?

Not really – the problem only is that you have been in the sugar diet for so long, that you have to do the opposite for some time (from 3 months to 2 years) to correct that imbalance and allow the body time and nutrients to repair itself – if you are a vegetarian, and have inflammation problems, you should consider going on a meat based protein diet until you are better – for the purpose of medicine and healing, it is okay to do this if you have tried and nothing else is working.

What other things can one do to stop inflammation?

The other things you can do to help stop and reduce inflammation are things like massage (which helps improve circulation) – exercise (As already mentioned), epsom salt baths once a month or if foot baths then daily.

You can also take a pain-killer like aspirin once a day to help this – I know it is strange that we recommend a pharmaceutical capsule in a natural healing blog, but this capsule’s ingredients were discovered through a plant – and in this time and age, this will help inflammation – so don’t try to ride out the pain when you are in pain, or know that you have inflammation (most likely you do if you don’t exercise and eat clean diet as well as detox regularly).

Vegan Vs Meat Eaters – Is there really a right way to eat?

vegainvsmeat

Vegans have started showing up more and more in numbers – it almost seems that people have found a new religion to use as an excuse for an argument or protest – what is the truth behind all this?

Vegan diet is considered a more conscious diet as you eat non-animal products and are meant to be more conscious of the environment and the animals around you – whilst vegan-ism stems from some geniune intention to make the world, and our body a better place to be in – there are some areas you must consider:

– Vegans say that they don’t hurt living things and that is the main reason (at least the few I spoke to) for their diet. This is simply not possible to do if you are alive, you will naturally be hurting and killing life around – even when you take a deep breath, you have just killed billions of life forms in the air.

– New studies have shown plants do have nervous systems, and they can feel pain. So if your a vegan based on the reason you don’t want to hurt living things, then this is heavily flawed.

That said – vegan and a vegerterian diet can be very healthy for some people, and often mind clearing too – but this is not to say meat eating is harmful – in fact, beef protein is the only protein that is most biolavailable to the body, and ideal for recovery and rebuilding strenght (Romans knew this, this is why all gladiators were fed pure beef diet, whilst the rest of Rome was almost vegeterian).

This post is not intended to take sides on vegans or meat eaters – the point to make is that each individual body type is different, and reason for the diet should be more than just saving life of nature (whilstit is important to be conscious of what you are doing), because you simply can’t do that with a diet alone.

There are anemic patients that I have seen, who badly need to eat beef, and it would save their life – but they try to get their protein from beans and think this is the same (and they never recover!) – all they need is 1-6 months protein diet on beef protein, and this restores their blood count very fast.

There are some people who have eaten a lot of deep fried junk in their lives, and are more than healthy in blood count levels – they could do with a vegetarian diet – as this diet will clear their mind, prevent foggy thinking, make them more energetic and less aggressive and even detox their system from a lot of junk – this does not mean its a permanent lifestyle – life is constantly changing, and so are your body’s nutritional requirements – there is no right way – both are right depending on the time and place.
